Cycling downhill on a steep hiking trail with just enough room to spare isn’t an easy thing to do.

This is what mountain bikers do for fun. This picture is taken during the “Mens 41 & Above” category heats of the recent KL Mountain Bike Carnival held at Taman Lembah Kiara, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.

Not all of the participants cycled down the steep slope, some merely walked and push their bikes down instead. I’m not sure if I dare to do it myself…

With the forest canopy blocking out most of the light from the bright afternoon sun and just having the kit lens, I resorted to taking paning shots, which will invoke a sense of movement, and speed of the bikers. Although the bikers do not move at a very high speed downhill, balancing on two wheels on uneven ground does make things more difficult and a slight mistake could send you down to the ground.
